‘I do not like the city’s clubbing crowd very much. I much prefer less fashionable places where the faces are not familiar and less time is wasted air-kissing the countless acquaintances one bumps into,’ she says.

She recommends Zara for the tapas and Leather Bar at The Park, if you like your drinks in a posh place.

‘But, for me the inexpensiveness and inconspicuousness of High Time at GRT Grand and Star Rock win in the end.’

The two classes in World of Warcraft that have access to pets and
rely heavily on them for success are the hunter and the warlock.
Pets are secondary characters that you can control. They are
simpler and weaker than a full-fledged character class, but they
provide extra power and support for your main character. Some
pets are offensive in nature and join you in attacking your
enemies. Some are more defensive, and occupy your target so
you can attack from range without fear of retaliation. There are
also more unusual pets with less easily defined abilities.

Vladimir Putin’s visit to Saudi Arabia on February 11 was the first ever for any Russian or Soviet leader. Putin also visited U.S. allies Jordan and Qatar. Coming from Munich, where Putin delivered his most bellicose anti-American speech, he further delineated a Russian Middle Eastern policy at odds with Washington’s in an interview with Al-Jazeera. Putin reiterated Russia’s opposition to the Iraq war and disputed the justice of Saddam’s execution. He was also critical of U.S. democracy promotion in the Middle East, attributing the empowerment of Hamas and Hezbollah to January 2006 parliamentary elections promoted by Washington. At the same time, he justified Russia’s refusal to recognize Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations due to their electoral victories.

Tamil Nadu was among the worst-hit teams when players defected to the ICL in droves and not surprisingly, the current set-up is just a shadow of the team of title contenders in the late 1990s. After narrowly avoiding relegation during the 2006-07 season, they performed only marginally better last season, with one outright win and four draws. Fortunately, they have a couple of players knocking on the doors of national selection and the challenge now will be to click as a team and regain lost glory.

The fact the team is in transition is something their coach WV Raman acknowledges and he knows the rebuilding process requires more time and self-belief. An early defeat last season exposed the weaknesses in the top order but fortunately, it didn’t take too long for the batsmen to realise their potential. M Vijay regained his touch after a slow start, Abhinav Mukund was a find at the top of the order in his debut season and S Badrinath contributed heavily with the bat and crucially, his availability through the season helped Tamil Nadu stay afloat. The bowling, however, suffered a setback with the loss of promising offspinner R Ashwin mid-way through the season to injury.

Battlegrounds are a special type of zone where unique player versus player
challenges can be found. They exist on both PvE and PvP servers, and provide
a level of competitive inter-faction play that can’t be found anywhere else.
Battlegrounds are special areas distinguished by a red instance portal. The
first time you encounter a battleground, you must walk through this red
portal to enter it, although later, you can journey there via flying mount if
you unlock the flight path there.
In a battleground, player versus player combat is always enabled, regardless
of server type. This gives players on the PvE server who want a taste of PvP
gameplay the ability to do so on more manageable terms.
While in a battlegrounds area, you can team up with friendly players while you
embark on quests designed to pit you against players of the opposing faction.
You can easily leave a battlegrounds area and return to the normal world by
speaking to another friendly battleground NPC.

The terrain mapping camera onboard India’s first unmanned lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-1 took excellent shots of the earth from deep space in black and white, the space agency said here Friday.

“The camera was operated through a series of commands from the spacecraft control centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s telemetry, tracking and command network (Istrac) here. The images were received by the deep space network (DSN) at Byalalu,” the space agency said in a statement. Byalalu is about 40 km from Bangalore.

The first imagery, taken from an altitude (perigee) of 9,000 km above the earth, clearly shows the northern coast of Australia, while the second imagery, taken from an altitude (apogee) of 70,000 km from the earth, shows the southern coast of Australia.

The yellow metal saw another round of free fall on Friday in the domestic markets in the wake of strengthening dollar and sliding crude prices. The relentless fall since its recent peak has weakened the metal’s appeal as a hedge against inflation.

Reports that gold fell by more than 2% in international markets on Friday and headed for its biggest monthly drop in more than 30 years as the stronger dollar and recession fears triggered fresh bout of fund selling, which led panic selling in India too.

In Mumbai, a major gold hub in India, the prices of standard and pure gold tumbled by Rs 305 each to Rs 11,795 and Rs 11,855 per 10 gm, respectively.
