Awards double for Valentine band

Welsh rock band Bullet For My Valentine have scooped two prizes at this year’s Kerrang! Awards, including best British group for the third year running.

ITV wins Rugby World Cup rights

ITV has successfully held onto the UK TV rights for the next two Rugby World Cups, it has been announced.
The channel, which has shown every world cup since 1991, will broadcast live TV and online coverage of every match from the tournaments.

Richard Desmond buys channel Five

Richard Desmond, the owner of the Daily Express and Daily Star, has bought Five Group from entertainment network RTL for £104m.
