If you are a really good Dota player and you have a set of really good players with you, and you are looking for some good competition and prizes. GG-Game or Garena is conducting lots of Dota tournaments among the players of the same country or region, the players are not supposed to appear in a common place and play in LAN, they could participate in this tournaments, just by playing from their Home PC. All you need is a bunch of really good Dota players. There is no specific time for this game to be played. The instruction are given to the players who are qualified for the tournament and the two opposing teams have to play a game with in the dead line which Garena has given, and these games has to be played only viz., Garena for security and the game to be free of hacking. Once the winning team submits the screen shot of the result the decisions will be taken by Garena and the details about the next game will be sent and thus a final winner is choosen from the successive games, and prizes are given.

The first time when some one hear the word ‘Dota’, they might mistake it for a strange Hindi word, but DOTA or Defense of the Ancients is a custom scenario for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the “Aeon of Strife” map for StarCraft. The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents’ “Ancient”, a heavily guarded structure in each corner of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called “creeps”. As in role-playing games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

The scenario was developed with the World Editor of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and was updated upon the release of The Frozen Throne. There have been many variations of the original concept, the most popular of which is DotA Allstars, which has been maintained by several authors during development. Since its release, Allstars has become a feature at several worldwide tournaments, including Blizzard Entertainment’s BlizzCon and the Asian World Cyber Games, as well as the Cyberathlete Amateur and CyberEvolution leagues.

To become a pro in warcraft Dota not only good playing skills are required. But the knowledge about the items is definitely needed, as the Hero could be enhanced by the items he/she has or the recipes prepared. I will be writing about some of the coolest recipes in Dota in this blog, 1st i am going to start with Sange and yasha, one of the items i really love to make in Dota, it needs totally 7 items to complete this recipe (including sange and yasha scroll). The steps to make sange and yasha is as follows, even though you can get the required items in any of the combinations to make this recipe, i recommend you to follow the steps. We should separately make sange then yasha and then combine it

• To make yasha , 2 items are required are Blade of Alacrity(1000) and Boots of Elvenskin(450 golds), both of these items could be brought from Sena The Accessorizer. Once you have brought these items yasha recipe scroll(600 gold) could be brought brought from Level 2 Orc recipe shop. Now these 3 items club together to occupy once one slot in your inventory.

• Yasha gives +16 agility,+5 attack speed,+5 movement speed

• The next step is to make sange, 2 items required are Ogre Axe(1000 gold) and Belt Of Great Strength(450 gold). both of these items could be brought from Sena The Accessorizer. Once you have brought these items sange recipe scroll(600 gold) could be brought brought from Level 2 Orc recipe shop. Now these 3 items club together to occupy once one slot in your inventory.
• Sange gives you +16 strength, +5 damage and 5% chance of hit to maim the target, and reduce its speed.

• Thus that the ingredients for sange and yasha is ready , the scroll of sange and yasha(1000 gold) could be got from Level 3 Night elf recipe shop. Now sange, yasha and the sange and yasha scroll club to form sange and yasha

When you are ever talking about Warcraft III, who is that one hero , whom you think is mighty of all, Yes, Of course the Lich King’s Death Knight. But have you people ever thought that the Death Knight has been given much importance in Dota, nope! Or have you ever seen someone choosing that character for a serious game of Dota??? nope! So why is that that the coolest hero of Warcraft III is not a great character in Dota, Cos the special abilities of the frostmourne’s owner is all screwed up. The Death Coil is not going to help him, really and only good ability of the hero is Learn Frostmourne. Some lame heroes like forest Trolls have good abilities. I pity you, Mighty Death Knight!!

Right from the beginning the AI dota maps had lots of errors and even if it doesn’t have much errors the Bot heros will be so stupid that, it just used to go front and back and do nothing, in the earlier versions of the Dota maps.

I recently downloaded this map ‘DotA Allstars v6.51 AIplus 1.52′(latest) which has a hell a lot of bugs. It was really awful, i was playing and i had no sign of my allied heroes and i found them all near the forest shop, and they never came back, so i had to restart in the middle. In another game the opponent hero was moving with a stop for every 2 sec. It would really take that bot 10 mins to go across the map.

So i will settle with the older map which is way better ‘DotA Allstars v6.51 AI using DAII’

I am writing this step by step tutorial to install Warcraft III completely+Dota.

For installing Dota you will have to install the complete game, i.e., Reign of chaos + Frozen Throne.

• Install the Reign of Chaos 1st from the disc 1. Use this key “F3ECV5-5786-2VE0BI-8A89-8D27A1″
• The second is to install Frozen Throne, install this from the second disc. The key for this is “728Y2W-B292-X7PCXZ-PPDX-PKCN72″
• Now that you have installed FT, you have to patch it. Get the commonly used patch in India to play in Garena

• Once you have downloaded the patch, run it by just double clicking it, it should patch by itself.
• Now you should Crack the game. Copy the contents of the crack folder and paste it in the game folder(the place where you install the game) and replace the game files(choose “yes to all”)
• Finally the Dota map should be installed. Download the DOTA map here.
• Now open map folder contained in the game folder. Check whether there is a folder named “Downloads” in it, if not create one. Open the “Downloads” folder and paste the Dota map inside it.
• There you go! You have successfully installed Warcraft III completely + Dota.

Note: Now there will be 2 icons in your desktop, one is the Reign of chaos icon and another one is the Frozen Throne icon. If you are a newbie to Warcraft, start playing campaign in the Reign of chaos so that you will learn the controls.

If you want to play Dota. Run Frozen throne and join the LAN game, Dota is meant for playing Online, but if you want to play the game with Bots and practice you need a Dota AI map. Copy paste the map inside the Downloads folder in the map folder.

Dota with Bots:Now Run Frozen Throne and choose single player custom game browse and choose the Dota AI map,add Bots and start the game.

Warning:Make sure that you have Patched the game before craking it. pasting the crack before patching won’t work.
