We all have different surfing habits, but if something is common between us clicked and clicked without stopping, jumping from side to side on the web.

But I never gave them curious to know where were the others who, like us, came to this page?

That is the concept behind Fast Forward, a Firefox extension that adds a new button on our navigation bar to move forward rather than backward, and visit the most popular page or link to where others were sailors. A sort of follow the route highlights.

The idea works pretty well known site (like YouTube or Flickr), but also with some less popular and is quite interesting, for example, when we make any kind of research.

Fast Forward is feedback from people who have installed the plugin, that is, once you’ve activated, Fast Forward will begin to collect data of the pages visited, and we, therefore, an additional figure.

The idea is quite similar to another favorite of mine, StumbleUpon, but focused on the current page, and its immediate surroundings. Besides being, of course, much simpler, since it has only one button.

The only downside is the appearance of the button. On the Mac, and Linux, is simply awful, as it seeks to imitate the Windows theme, so desencaja completely. Hopefully, while changing the extension, adding a way to identify the browser and change the button according to the operating system. Moreover, there is no clear way to see if the content that we go inside, or outside the same page.

Fast Forward is an interesting way, then the content of most popular Instant either website. So if you want to increase a few hours of their time browsing, an attachment that is worth considering.
